Golden, CO, October 31, 2016, Healthbreak congratulates Boulder County Government for being ranked 13th among the “Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America Award.” This award is the highest, most-coveted distinction in the corporate wellness industry, with only 100 companies in the US earning such designation each year.
The organization was awarded this honor in September during the 8th Annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress in Washington, D.C.
“Boulder County cares about the well-being of its employees, and this award is affirmation of that commitment. The county’s focus on the health and wellness of county employees is a large part of why we are an employer of choice in a very competitive job market,” said Julia Yager, Director of Human Resources.
To be considered for this honorable award, Boulder County Government was scored via a 1-100 metric that examines six critical elements of workplace wellness:
- Culture and leadership commitment
- Foundational components
- Annual planning
- Communications and marketing
- Programming and interventions
- Reporting and analysis
Boulder County has partnered with Healthbreak, Inc., since 2006. Healthbreak is a worksite wellness management company that provides wellness management services and support to employers in Colorado and across the nation.
